NOTE:  If looking at a street map, Somlói út 51 is located in the extreme southern edge of district I in Budapest.  When you cross the street, you enter district XI.

Driving from Buda or M1/M7 from Budaörs:

Head towards Erzsébet Híd on Hegyalja út.  Turn RIGHT immediately after the Bara Hotel onto Avar utca.  Continue to the intersection with two yield signs and turn LEFT at the left yield sign onto Alsóhegy utca.  Take the first sharp RIGHT onto Somlói út.  Park {on either side of the road} or drive up the hill 50 meters to Somlói út 51, the Mathias Corvinus Collegium, and park on the street.  Close drop off is available.

Driving from Pest:

After crossing the Erzsébet Híd, turn LEFT onto Hegyalja út towards Balaton.  Turn LEFT immediately before the Bara Hotel onto Avar utca.  Continue to the intersection with two yield signs and turn LEFT at the Left Yield Sign onto Alsóhegy utca. Take the first sharp RIGHT onto Somlói út.  Park {on either side of the road} or drive up the hill 50 meters to Somlói út 51, the Mathias Corvinus Collegium, and park on the street.  Close drop-off is available.

By bus from Pest:

In front of the Matyas Pince restaurant near Ferenciek Tere Blue Metro station, take the 112 or 8 bus to the sixth stop, which is called "Mézáros". The stop is in front of the Charles Hotel and a prominent Fehér Ablak storefront.  Cross the street and walk up either Alsóhegy utca or Harkály utca.  Across from where these two streets join, Somlói út starts and curves up the hill a short distance to the Mathias Corvinus Collegium on the left.

By bus from Buda:

The 112 stop FROM Buda is the tenth from Thoman Istvan utca in the XII district. The stop you need is called "Avar út"; walk up either Alsóhegy utca or Harkály utca.  Across from where these two streets join, Somlói út starts and curves up the hill a short distance to the Mathias Corvinus Collegium on the left.  The 8 bus originating from the Gazdagrét Lakótelep also stops at "Avar ut".

By bus from Móricz Zsigmond Körtér:

Beyond McDonalds and between the Spar and G-Roby grocery stores, get on bus 27 and stay on until the ninth stop called "Mihály utca".  It is the next stop after "Busulo Juhasz", which is the Citadella stop.  You are now on Somlói út.  Continue walking in the direction the bus WAS pointing when you got off; staying on the Left sideof the road.  The Mathias Corvinus Collegium will soon be down the hill and across the street.

Leaving by bus:

The easiest return to Móricz Zsigmond, is done by getting back on the 27bus at "Mihály utca"--which is THE closest stop.  Anyone that needs to return to Pest can also get on the 27 bus at "Mihály utca", and quickly connect with the 8 or 112 busses at the "Sanc utca" end stop.
