Jesus and the Father
"I always do the things I see the Father doing"
John 10:37, 14:10-13
We have a tendency to build broken cisterns that don't hold water instead of coming to Him, the source of living water.
The sheep and goat judgement is not based on works but "I never knew you". We want to be known, to be found in Him.
|
"My ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts are higher than your thoughts."
Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel all speak of the New Covenant. Here God speaks through Isaiah to offer water to everyone who thirsts. Thirsting is common to all. The difference is where we take that thirst.
